Feeling Famous

I'm addicted to pinterest! But that's not the point of this blog. Focus. I made this wreath for my good friend Kimberly (so good that Kimber's name is because of her). I made it for her to hang outside the hospital door. Both times I got to go have a baby I never had one for my door, so I wanted to make sure she had one! Anyway, pinned it on pinterest and it got likes and repins on it! I tell u I felt famous!!

Super Powers

Today the girls were being especially......bratty! So I asked them in a frustrated tone why they weren't acting like big girls and Kimber said:

"Because we don't have our super powers anymore!"

So apparently acting like a big girl is a super power, in case you didn't know.

The next...next karate kid

Danae wanted to take a karate class; I'm sure she saw it on some show or cartoon. Well the martial arts class for her age was 75.00/month plus 50.00 for a uniform. That's a lot of money!!! Well great thing I'm addicted to Groupons! Along came one for 25.00 for a month and a free uniform! Wooohooo! So we were able to grant her karate kid dream with taekwondo lessons for a month!!!
And the picture....I tried to get her to smile and she said "no mom, I have to be serious!"

Blogging App, what!!!

This could change everything! I can blog from my phone, I know this isn't a new concept but it's new to me!

So first picture for my resolution....
The view from my parents house in Animas. It warms my heart! I love the huge sky in NM and the amazing sunsets. It is a comforting thing for me.

The day my Grandma Merrell died Danae saw me crying and asked me why...
I said that I was going to really miss my Grandma Merrell and she said "Don't you have Heavenly Father's number? You could just call Grandma Merrell" I said no I don't have his number, then she said "Well you have Santa's so just call him and see if he has Heavenly Father's"  That got me laughing and cheered me up.

New Years Resolution

I got to spend some wonderful time with family after Christmas when we went to Animas for JoLyn's wedding.  My awesome cousin Karen was there and she gave me a crash course in blogging since I'm so not good at it! So one of my resolutions is to blog more and blog better with more pictures! It may take me a while to perfect my ways but I vow to do better!

My other resolutions are:

Lose weight-physically, emotionally and in my house! Dejunk all the way around!
Do more cultural things with the girls
Play outside more with the girls
Be a better wife
Be a better friend
Spend less money
ORGANIZE
make more crafts
